My parents bought my first computer when I was 9 years old and I’ve never stopped learning since then. I started with simple Basic programs and ended doing a Masters in Computer Science. I’m now a 30 year old web developer and GNU/Linux enthusiast who likes programming and understanding how things work. I like learning on my own and I’m trying to share all that knowledge in this blog. I hope all those posts help other people.
There is another passion in my live; I’ve always liked Japan, I think since I saw some old pictures of my parents in front of the Daibutsu (Great Buda) of Kamakura. I’ve been studying japanese for a couple of years now and been 2 times in Japan sightseeing on my own. I’ve been among others in: Kyoto, Osaka, Kobe, Himeji, Nara, Miyajima, Fukuoka, Tokyo, Kamakura, Yokohama, Nagoya, Ise, Toba, Takayama, Shirakawa-go and Kanazawa. I would like to live in Japan to learn its language, culture and meet many people. When somebody asks me why I like Japan I usually explain what happened on the earthquake and tsunami of 2011. Everybody waited patiently in the line on supermarkets, people opened their Wifi connections for others to be able to contact their family, people who had electricity in their homes shared it to people still without it to charge their mobile phones and the were almost no lootings.
I also like cycling, taking pictures and going out with my friends.
