Connect to MySQL over SSH with MySQL Workbench

If you don’t have phpMyAdmin installed on your server or you don’t feel comfortable using it there’s the option to connect over SSH to MySQL with MySQL Workbench. I didn’t know this could be done until changing this site from a shared hosting to a VPS. And it is very easy! You only need an SSH server running and a connetion configured to use it in MySQL Workbench:

mysql workbench ssh
